So I just picked up the switch. Problem is I cannot figure out how to install it.. The hole on the dash is just big enough for the button to go through but the faceplate and associated clips are too big to fit through. Before I start drilling I was wondering if maybe I am missing the obvious...

So I think I may have solved this problem. The PO had installed a trailer brake aftermarket switch in the position above the ignition. I assumed that they removed the washer button before hand. It looks like my truck has a 859k serial number so it should not have a washer button. Thats why the hole is too small. My wiper switch is setup to take the washer as well.

Thanks for all the help.
If your truck has windshield washers, see post #13 for the set-up.
But if it's a 1966 with two speed wipers from serial number 760,001 .. the washer switch is incorporated within the wiper switch.
