Greetings:
I have a 2000 4x4 EB with about 74k. I am getting a rumble (sound and vibration?) from what seems to be the front end. It almost sounds/feels like either the front dif or the tranny. Problem is worst when I put a load on (ie acceleration), seems to happen at about 40 - 50 mph on backroads and at normal cruising speeds on the highway (75-85 mph). Any ideas what this suitably vague description is? Note that I just got brakes all around, at Tire Kingdom, and they are squeaking in the front. The dealer also replaced a ball joint.
If you have 74K miles and haven't done differential, tranny and transfer case flush/fluid changes yet, it's time. Try these first and you'll probably eliminate the noise.
