brake lights
brake lights
1954 ford truck rewired with original wring harness. Everything is working but can not get brake lights to work. Have a new stock mastercylinder and stop light switch and even bought a low pressure switch and still no brake light. One wire is hot that goes to stop light switch at all time as it should be and tried with both leads pulled off pressure switch to use a jumper wire on both leads and still nothing. Been trying everything i can think of but no luck. Everything else is working headlights, park lights etc. just cant get brake lights to come on. Any thoughts would be deeply appreciated.
1. is you brake lights double filament or single filament.
2. At brake light, check for a good ground in the casing.
3. Can you light the the bulb at the casing by putting battery to it.
4. have you checked the bulb it self.
5. Have you checked continuity from stop light switch to bulb socket
