Stumbling on hard deceleration
Got a 94 E-150 with 351W and E4OD.
Weird thing happens once in a while when driving in stupid Denver traffic. If I am going 30-40 (3rd gear) and I have to come to a hard stop, like a light turns yellow and someone decides not to go through, etc, the van will stumble when its getting down to a stop, from like 5mph to 0. It hasn't stalled yet from it, but the dash goes a little funky, and the amp meter drops for a moment. Could the trans not be dropping out of gear, or some kind of ignition issue causing by the hard slow down?
new plugs/wires recently, did timing chain, and water pump a few years ago. Its got about 235K on it, on its 2nd transmission, has a Ford reman sticker on it.
