Punch it performance custom tunes
Anyone use the custom tunes from punch it performance off ebay? I'm looking for a tuner with the power to turn off the dpf. Just curious if anyone's used this one. Thanks

It's your call but personally I wouldn't buy ANYTHING off Ebay to tune an engine that can cost up to $30,000 to replace. It's well known who the quality tuners are for these trucks and if you're not willing to pay what they want then leave the truck as it is.

Its not that im not willing. I just don't know. I've owned this truck for less then a week. And have not noticed any tuner threads yet. I came from the 6.0 forum. And there the sct 3015 is your best bet with custom tunes. That one is a sct tuner but with custom tunes from punch it performance. Whom I've never heard about before. Which is why I was asking here. So what is the best tuner? H&S?

Yes, IMO H&S basically owns the market for successfully tuning a 6.7. I've never personally run one but know many guys that have and have read many posts on the subject and pretty much everyone that runs an H&S has nothing but good things to say. But that being said there are other options. Use the search feature in this forum and you will find your answers. It has been discussed at length many times. Good Luck

Do some more research and look on other powerstroke forums. Punch it performance tunes are very good tunes for the sct platform. I personally have them and am very pleased with the package, as are others. H&S is not the only choice for the 6.7 anymore.
I would not buy off ebay though. You can get them other places.

Gearhead Tunes writes phenomenal tunes for the 6.7 powerstroke. I frequent Powerstrokearmy.com and they are the tune writer favorite over there.

I had gearhead tunes for my 6.0. They were amazing! Definitely going that route.

Spartan does make a great product but they don't offer anything for the 6.7 motor after 2012. They can't crack the code for Ford's Sync system so are unable to offer tunes for trucks that have it. And their customer service is not bad at all. I never had any issues with them at all and they always returned my emails and phone calls very quickly.
