1967 Half Cab Bronco

Hello,

My uncle inherited a 67 Bronco Half Cab from my grandpa about 15 years ago. Before my Grandpa dies he completely disassembled the Bronco in preparation for a restore. The Bronco is still in pieces. Its stored inside which is good. I am trying to buy it from my uncle and he asked my to make an offer. I am seeking advice on its value. The body is pretty straight but will need a new floor pan and rocker panels. The engine and transmission are no good. I am hoping that you can help or lead me to someone who can. I would really like to get this thing back up and running in memory of my Grandpa Buddy.

Thanks, that is about how much I was thinking. Other people are telling me $3000.

You can have what can be a long, hard, expensive road ahead of you. So the cheaper the better, tell your uncle to be a good relative and give it up for 1K or 2K at the most, and that is being nice. I mean come on, you are family. Ask him is HE going to restore it in you grandpa's memory? Well then give it up, all taken apart, in his way, just setting there...he is not getting 10k for it...its all in pieces.

Unless it is one of one, pre 66 with lots of rare factory options, Carol Shelby owned it ect....then give him 2 or 3K and get with it.

#1 is the title available, do you have a copy of your grandpas death certificate? You will more than likely need that, is it is still in you grandpa's name? You better talk to your local DMV to get the facts about titleing, and what is will take to get it in your name.

I would not spend a dime until you have seen the title and have the facts on getting it titled in YOUR name. Then win the lottery and proceed.

An AWESOME early Bronco site to check out, if you are serious about this endeavor. https://classicbroncos.com/forums/index.php

The good thing is, the title is clear and in my uncles name. The other thing is he knows how much these types of broncos are worth when they are put together and running. That value just does not translate to a pile of parts. I started this thread to get other opinions about it and it seems like everyone I ask is on the same page. Between $2000 and $5000. I do not see giving more than $2500.

Thanks for your advice and yes I am also on classicbroncos.com

I hear ya, I just was thinking you could get him to cut you some slack and give you a deal. I am a firm supporter of FTE, but the EB forum on here is no where as busy as CB, and is a tech library heaven for sure. At least the tile is in his name, one less hurdle.
