Adding factory keyless entry
Hey guys, I have been looking for days and can not find the answer to my question. I just picked up a 1999 f250 cclb diesel. It didn’t come with key fobs, but was told by the owner it was equipped with it. Ordered key fobs and went to go program them, and turns out it isn’t equipped. There Is currently a few good prices keyless entry modules on eBay, by my question is this. If I order the module, are the plugs already under the dash to plug it in? I looked up under the dash, to the right of the pedals, and don’t see any. Not sure if I was looking in the right places.
I would prefer to go the factory route, if possible. My old truck had so much ‘aftermarket’ stuff, that the wiring harness was done for.
