Rear Window Defogger Question

I have a 2008 Super Duty King Ranch with the 6.4 Diesel. I bought this truck in 2014.

I noticed that I have a Switch on the Dash for a Rear Window Defogger, but I don't have a Rear Window Defogger.

I thought Ford NEVER put in a switch unless you had that option. Sure they would put n a Blank Switch, BUT not one that had the Rear Window Defogger LOGO on it.

1). Any way to 'ADD' it now or is it 'embedded' in the glass?

It is usually not embedded in the glass. Check to see if there are wires on each side of the window as someone might have replaced the original window with a plain one.
