Help identifying frame

I have a 71 f100 that I bought little over a year ago and after pulling the transmission I noticed that my frame does not look original, looks like part of a different frame welded into place in order to put the 460 in this truck also the motor mounts don’t look factory, but not sure. Anybody on here recognize the style and maybe tell me what years that frame may have come out of?

I think that's how the 4x4 f100 frames were. As for the motor mounts a 460 never came in a bump. Welds look similar to my 2x4 f100 on the steering box side.

Interesting, I would have thought it would have been like rest of frame without the welds from factory, thanks!

No 460's with 4WD or a M/T until 1983, then in F250/350 only.

Right, I understand the 460 isn’t original, I thought whoever put the 460 in may have done some mods to the frame to make it fit.

Transmission cross member was removed. I have a 71 f100 4x4. This member helped brace the radius arm brackets at the frame as well hold tranny

I removed the tranny crossmember when I pulled it out recently, I was just asking about the frame and how it’s welded together before radius arm bracket.
