A/C problems
Last weekend I get my new 6.0 Superduty. The only problem :
The A/C doesn´t run. Somebody any idea what I can do ??
I import this car to germany, the next dealer is a couple of miles over the antlantic :-))

There is no function, the a/c clutch did not lock. I checked all fuses and get from the dealer in canada some electric wire plans. There is an aux. relay box 4 or 5 where the relay for the clutch is. I didn´t find this box.

i think what jquest is trying to say is maybe you lost your freon.
he's talkin about putting a jumper wire across the terminals of the pressure cycling switch mounted on the suction line accumulator. if that works, you need to find the leak,repair it and recharge system. this is probably the culprit if everything is original on the truck.

I bridged this cables, but the a/c is not running. There is another switch or sensor near the compressor with 4 contacts, but without a wiring plan it is too difficult to do something.

titus you should have 12v present at that plug one side or the other,im just not sure were power comes from on your truck.(A/C switch on dash?) i think you are correct, wait for your wiring schematic, do some basic trouble shooting and research rather than guess. its most likely some simple problem.im sure theres also somebody who wil post more info soon. if i had my way i'd head over to octoberfest and not worry about this for awile.
