I recently got tired of sore throats and coughing fits from an exhaust leak I couldn't find, so I decided to do the dreaded bellowed up-pipe job. Went fairly smooth, besides breaking almost every bolt and perhaps a finger. Also knocked out the EBPV with a deleted pedestal and outlet from RiffRaff. Taking it on it's test run, I gained a few PSI and get a nice whoosh when I let off the gas and the PSI drops to around 5. Problem is, we aren't wastegated and the needle still shakes a bit on higher readings. I can't remember for the life of me how it acted before the up-pipe job, besides the shaking needle(which has gotten better). Is this normal for boost pressure, or did I botch something?
-Autometer Z-Series boost gauge(From the spider)
-RiffRaff Bellowed Up-pipes
-Stock TP38 checks out
-New intake and plenum boots from RiffRaff
-ZF5 Tranny
-4" straightpipe with stock pancake DP
Neat. Are those restrictors usually required on boost gauges? I've never heard of them. Any recommended brands? Any insight on the boost drop? I can take a video tomorrow, if it would help. Or just for fun, because it sounds fun.
I was under the impression that the MAP line tap would flutter. Not sure the model spyder, the stock OBS spyder with RiffRaff boots. The plenums are stock. This is how it looks. Self tapped the PSI fitting into the spyder with teflon tape and silicon afterwards. I don't recall it fluttering after I first installed it, but I was only hitting 12PSI tops. Tightened exhaust manifold bolts and got up to 15PSI, and I started to notice flutter. Recently replaced passenger side exhaust man. gasket and up pipes, and hit 20PSI, with a little bit of flutter. I can't hit the highway til Wednesday. I will take a video. It seemed to behave today on the back roads, even up to 15psi.

Reason: I forget what day it is.
I had a boost/vacuum gauge one in my truck and that thing flutter like crazy then I installed a boost fooler, it helped alot but gave me wrong boost pressure, then I bought an Autometer boost gauge and it never flutter again, mine was t'eed with the MAP sensor.
