youngblood is it leaking pink tranny fluid? that should be your transmision cooler in front of the radiator. Your condenser should be on the passenger side firewall inside a plastic housing. If it is your tranny cooler then ditch your trip till you get it fixed. If it were your ac condenser you would notice very little fluid as the ac system only uses a small amount of lubricant for the compressor. If this is your condenser you wouldnt want to run the ac too much. Its possible that you could burn up your compressor, on that note have you noticed your compressor cycling on and off more than usual?

I havent used it in about 1 month, its not nearly warm enough, and when it was i loved the windows down with my system up.
But i replaced my tranny cooler about 3 months ago, it was leaking along one of the connectors.
Well it (not 100% sure what "it" is , but i think its my condensor) leaked about 1 month ago, and then it stopped for like 1 month, and then it just leaked again today.
Very odd...

my bad youngblood. 3bronco is correct, its the evaporator on the firewall not the condensor. If you are loosing fluid from the condensor as 3bronco said dont run it. The ac system doesnt have much lubricant in it and you run the risk of burning up the compressor. Now that I have my head on right, what you are talking about is between your tranny cooler and the radiator and about the same size as the radiator but only about and inch thick correct? I was thinking that tranny fluid might be blowing back onto it and then running down giving the appearance that it is leaking.

No i just got down today and checked it, its a clear liquid, and no smell. I would think its water, but it hasnt rained in two days. But the first day I noticed it is the day it rained.
The tranny coolers is first, about the size of a book (brand new)
Condensor is 2nd and just a tad smaller than the radiator, and twice as thin.
I Have never seen the lubricant that gets injected into the ac system to tell you what color it would be. It is very possible that it is clear, simular to a mineral oil. If you have a set of gauges hady to check the presure in the system, see if it is reading lower than normal. I have been fortunate on mine and never had trouble with the ac so I dont know the proper presure to tell you but it should be listed in a haynes or chliton manual. If it is very low you propably have a leak. Most shops that do ac work should have a sniffer that can locate the leak and propably wouldnt charge much to check it for you.
