I had trouble with this as well. I ended up buying 2 sets to get the ones I needed and so I do have a set still. Which letters and what size are you looking for?
Well I finally got up the nerve and took Mr Forgey's route on the letters. I followed his video and did some extra reinforcing but I think they came out great! It wasn't overly difficult. Just a bit of time. Thanks for the help guys!
Seems quite stupid to me. Why not pay Ford for the trademark rights and sell an tremendous amount more of the grilles. That or make a kit to swamp them out easily and neatly.
Ford won't sell them the trademark they want the grille to be a Raptor exclusive so if you want the grille you have to buy a Raptor.

They would be violating Ford's trademark if they made the grill to match or the parts to make it match. That's why the letters have always come from "another company" because if one company makes a grille that says DOOD and another makes a plastic F and an R that bolt into the other grille then that's just a happy coincidence

After you *fixed* the letters, what color or product did you paint it with?
Paramount refused to sell the superduty letters, thats why you could never find them. Took me almost 2 years but finally able to get them. Truckstuffshop has them on pre-order.

I had to use a bit of filler and sand to get them more detailed. I then scuffed them all and use grey primer. I found a gunmetal colour in my local parts store(I'm in the UK) that matched really well. I then taped off the grill leaving just the face of the letters and painted them a slight lighter grey for a bit of contrast. I just looked at the can of the gun metal color and it was "Toyota decoma grey". I thought it was a pretty spot on match.
