48-50 Grille Bar Trim Clips
Who has installed the 48-50 grille bar trim? I have seen what I think are a couple of different style of clips that hold the trim onto the grille bars. Or maybe the suppliers website pictures don't show enough. I have found prices ranging from $162.50 at Mid-Fifty to $199.95 at Dennis Carpenter to $239.95 at LMC Truck. Is the quality any different or are they all using the same Chinese supplier? For me the freight and taxes will be a deciding factors as well as quality and price.
What do you guys know and what have you experienced? Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Hi Phillip,
I bought my set at MidWest Early Ford for $170 or so. The quality was decent and was not hard to install. I had to drill the holes in my grille since it never had trim before. The trim is GREAT for covering up dents and my caveman straightening and painting skills. You have to drill the holes before painting of course.
The trim clips that come with it are generic ones that you have to snip down to size. Not difficult but remember the 'measure twice-cut once' saying. It certainly applies here.
You can center the trim before tightening the clip nuts to make it look symmetrical and even.
Makes the old tired grille look real nice.
