Yep, the new trucks have an option for a power sliding rear window. Damn, wish I had that -- too much of a strain to reach all the way back there to open/close the back window, even on my Super Cab. I guess it might be easier on a standard, but I'd hate to try it on a Crew Cab.
From what I understand, some people have commented that they were able to order it, some have not been able to. I think it's still being worked out. As far as weather your truck will have it or not, don't you know that? It should be on your specifications/order sheet. Did you include it in the order? If so, then you should get it. If not... well, you get the picture.

Mine was ordered on 29 sept with late availability and had them take it off to get ordered quicker the next day. Went in the day after that and had them do another check but still said late availability but added it back on anyway, just from some of the info I got from here.

if you ordered the truck on the 29th...your dealer should have received a confirmation of the additon to the order bank...when I ordered mine the next day had the confirmation was there but had a material hold.... the 30th I was back at dealer to check to see statis and truck was scheduled for the 13th...original order was on Sept 4th...if you go to dealer you should have a confirmation of order...it may be unscheduled clean...which means that they have all the parts for the truck and are waiting for a scheduled date....that may take a week or two....there was another truck ordered the same time as mine but without the powerslider and his truck was schedule the 22nd....which took approxately 18 days..it all depends on the priority code....mine was 10...and what allotment they have availible....I have read of some that ordered there trucks in Aug and still have not heard back.....I hope this answers your questions....sorry for being so long

does anybody know where the power window motor for the rear slider mounts exactly.also my local ford dealer is telling me that you must buy the whole window kit to get the switch for the power window. all i need is the factory switch. they also are telling me that there is no such part number for this switch. any info would help thanks

Why would you want to open your back window anyways? It just lets all the trash in the bed blow in. 
Or the darn dog sticks his head in and drools all over the seat. Or even better takes a dump in the bed because you had him back there to long, thats a nice aroma blowing in.
