I just bought a running 1962 F100 with a 292 y-block. Was planning on doing an engine swap for a mid 80's 302. I want a fast fun truck to drive that sounds awesome too. Am I making a mistake swapping engines? Can I get performance out of this 292? What about exhaust sounding good? Thoughts?
