My radiator has developed a leak at the top under the plastic and I am looking to replace it. I'm just wondering where you have gotten yours from and your opinion on it, either good or bad.
I did find the "budget" Mishimoto one on Full Force Diesel for $290 with a lifetime warranty and am leaning that way so far but I was kinda shocked at what I found to be a lack of options out there for this.

Me too. I guess I was jaded with all the other aftermarket parts still available for these dinosaurs and didn't stop to think that maybe not everybody thinks there is a market for 20 year old trucks.
My upper connection (under the degas bottle) cracked and started to separate. I tried to patch it with some SteelStik to no avail. After researching (list was very short as you mentioned) I went down the street, bought an OEM radiator and installed it.
I figured if the original one lasted ~220K miles (and never had an overheating issue) then another OEM should last me until a rebuild. Never had a problem with the new one.
The OEM rad here is $800+!! I found another from Napa for $470ish and CARQUEST for about $400. So the Mishimoto rad at about $330 in Canadian currency is the best price of the ones that I figure to be good quality.
I don't have a lot of faith in the Spectre units that go for about $180, or should I?
If I were in your shoes and staring at this problem, I would be getting the Mishimoto OE replacement from Full Force Diesel or another supplier that you might be able to find a little cheap at.
Mishimoto has a great reputation and even though this is not their 100% aluminum version, it carries their warranty and more than likely their workmanship quality.
I found one at auto zone with a lifetime warranty for a good price. Seems to be decent but only been in the truck for about 6 months. That was the only store near me with a lifetime warranty

I concur with Sous. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Mishimoto product, especially if it was towards the top of the list of cost-effective items in the budget.
Thanks guys for all the help.
At the advice of of a buddy I gave a local rad shop a call today just before pulling the trigger on the Mishimoto and to my surprise he was able to get one for me at $250.
So thats the way I decided to go.
I will hopefully get a chance to put it in next weekend and I'll take pics......!
Probably one from R.A. thats priced at 74.95 retail
@timmyboy76 More often than I should probably admit, I have a hard time connecting the dots with some of your posts. Nothing against your posts...they are great... it's just that they assume that the reader has more noodles than broth in the soup of their brain, and I've got a lot of water on the brain, which is pretty weak broth at that. Most of the time I have to wait until someone else, who perfectly understands what you are saying, makes a comment, and then I have the ah ha moment. But in this case, since the OP's problem is solved, the thread might die off the front page, and I still want to connect those dots...
In your post quoted above, are you suggesting that the Mishimoto radiator for $330 CAD is likely the exact same product, built in the same foreign factory, as the lowest cost radiator offered at Rock Auto for $75 USD?
I thought that at first, but then the yellow faced emojii shaking it's head added enough twist to make me think that he was suggesting that Mishimoto is leveraging their brand reputation earned from their all aluminum products to also garner profits from reselling generic products (with a mark up) under their brand. So I wasn't sure.
