Help Removing 2003 Expedition front differential
Hoping someone here could help me. I am trying to take out the front differential on my 2003 Expedition 4WD (4.6L) and there are three bolts holding it in place, one on passenger and two on the driver side. For the upper bolt on the driver side it looks like there is no room to back out and remove the bolt because it is right up against where the steering shaft attaches to the steering rack. Do I have to remove the steering rack also? The funny thing is I can't any information on taking the diff out in my Haynes manual or online. Really hoping someone here has done this before. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much this is what I needed! I was going to punt on this job but I'm glad I didn't because when took out the old diff I noticed the oil filter housing and back of the oil pan gasket were leaking. With the differential out I was able to fix the oil issues easily. Thanks again!
