I changed front at 50k with a little pad left. I full time rv with a 16k 5th wheeler. Back were good. I do have disc brakes on trailer which takes stress off truck brakes
BTW, my wife's Subaru has the adaptive cruise, which relies heavily on the front pads. It sort of chews them up faster than normal. I wonder if that doesn't also affect other makes/models of vehicles with adaptive cruise ... vehicle functions that rely on brakes.

Absolutely! I notice a HUGE increase in brake dust on the wheels when I use adaptive cruise.
