heavier the load then you may wear them out faster. Ford puts out heavy duty pads (not what came with the truck) or you could go with Hawk heavy duty pads.
I got 48K out of my fronts and 56K for the rears.

Wow. 80-100K is forever. That's great news.
BTW, my wife's Subaru has the adaptive cruise, which relies heavily on the front pads. It sort of chews them up faster than normal. I wonder if that doesn't also affect other makes/models of vehicles with adaptive cruise ... vehicle functions that rely on brakes.
