Howdy
I have a 2003 F250 4x4 SD CC SB with the 5.4L. I do alot of towing and the last time my brakes heated up. Yes was going down a mountain. The truck has 44k on it and never have replaced any brake parts. When applying brakes I have some shudder like rotars. So I'm thinking of replacing the rotars and pads. So who can tell me a good pad or type of pads that would give good braking and last.....Thanks!!!
I am very happy with the Hawk SuperDuty pads which I got from Tirerack. I can't say that they lasted any longer than the stock pads (~50,000 miles), but they stop better and never fade. I tow a 2 horse trailer. My truck is an F150, however.
