OK, I checked the fuel lines and everything looked good. So, I decided the throw in the broken, water logged PCM that had been sitting for the past 5 years.....and it fired right up So, it turns out that my brand new, $1500 PCM with a lifetime warranty did everything it was supposed to, except fire up the motor. I cannot tell you how frustrated I am, but it just goes to show that you should never EVER assume something brand new is %100 foolproof. Thanks everyone for the help, it was such a joy to drive it today!!
I think the last time I bought one, it wasn't that expensive. What was the reason to get that one again?
So, when I got the truck, it had been sitting for 5 years or so. The PCM that was in the truck was covered in duct tape so I assumed it was bad or had water in it. I could not find a PCM for the life of me, and I didn't know if the one inside it was correct, so I found a company that would build me one based off of the VIN number. Great customer service, and shipped fairly quickly, but obviously didn't meet expectations. Thankfull, they offer a lifetime warranty. Where else would I be able to find one? I've been doing this awhile, but haven't really dove in to 7.3's until this adventure...
