Ive just got back to driving my truck often after the winter and now im experiencing a squeal. It has to do with the manual trans or clutch. If i rev up the engine in any gear or neutral it winds up with the engine. If i very very lightly apply pressure to the clutch pedal the noise stops.
Would this be a throwout bearing issue? Hopefully not as it is basically brand new
Been reading it could be trans bearings going.
Obviously it is hard to diagnose without hearing it but what are you thoughts and remedies if you have any?
Try adjusting your pedal to give it a little more travel to engagement. sounds like you might be touching the pressure plate at all times.
if that fixes it then the question is has it trashed the throw out or not , or was your throw out trash when you bought it. most clutch kits come with the cheapest junk Chinese bearing money can buy.
