front end compatibility
Thinking about swapping the front end from the donor truck(85 f150) to my 82 f100. Just looking at it it seems doable. Haven't measured yet, just an idea rolling around while I'm getting some painting done. The 85 appears to be forged while the 82 is thinner tubing
I'm thinking it should be fairly straightforward since I'm swapping everything in whole, assuming the measurements are close.

Dose the 82 have kingpins?
Do both trucks have power brakes?
I ask because kingpin trucks have 2 wheel bolt pattern so check the 2 trucks.
Other wise I believe it will bolt in and that is what you have to do if you want to use drop beams because they are not made for our trucks with kingpins.
