This should be a simple problem but the more I read online the more confused I get. The truck died twice today randomly and then restarted promptly. I ran the codes when I got home (oem enhanced) and it was throwing a code for a knock sensor and p0231 which means a bad fuel pump relay. Where is the relay? Under the hood? Behind the radio? I already replaced the fuel pump and the knock sensor awhile ago, but the p0231 is new. Any help is greatly appreciated about where it's located or if it's even serviceable

It's built into the central junction box and is considered non-serviceable. However, many have replaced it with a little soldering know-how and skill. A search here should find you many threads on the subject.
