HSWM Module Forscan
I tried to do the heated steering wheel timeout today. I did not have a HSWM module come up when I connected to forscan. I do have a heated steering wheel. Truck is an 18 350 Limited. Anyone else have this not show up?

Thread bump....I'm also interested in getting heat on the steering wheel. I ordered my truck (2019 Lariet) without heated steering wheel option. I wonder if all of the necessary hardware is in the vehicle (steering wheel with heat tape, HSWM, etc) and i can just turn it on in Forscan. Any thoughts on this? The HSWM module did not come up when Forscan was started - does this module need activated by APIM module program changes first?

The reason why my truck doesn’t have the HSWM is because I have adaptive steering. Because I don’t have a HSWM, I cannot adjust the timing for it using forscan. As for adding a heated steering wheel, I have no idea on how to do it.

I added it. I bought a Raptor wheel, built my harness and ordered the correct clockspring and heated wheel module. If your thinking of ordering the module do it now. I ordered in July and just received 2 weeks ago.... 3 months backordered.
