new shocks = rough ride
I recently put 4 new shocks and tires on my ranger (dont get me wrong, they helped alot) but the ride seems to be getting rougher and rougher. Could it be the springs....suspension...?
any suggetions on brands too?

Where are you getting 44? That's an odd number, are you looking at the pressure on the sidewall of the tire? You want the tire to wear evenly, so it's not necessarily the max psi. Do a search under "chalk test" in this forum, tire pressure is a very popular question and has been beat to death around here.

sorry, i imagine so... but yah 44 is the max psi. i'll give the chalk test a try and hope that is the reason for the rough ride

theres a sticker on the inside of one of the doors that tells you the factory recomened tire pressures
also check the ball joints and all the bushings!!!!!
i personaly don't like to put sensatracs on 4x4 pick ups
rather i would use the monroe "reflex" units if i had the extra bucks

well, the tires arent factory size so i dont think that the recommended psi will apply.
i will check the ball joints and bushings though
mine isnt a 4x4 so the sensatracs should be doin fine...
