Interior trim mods
has anyone done anything to their trim pieces such as the air vent surrounds and the silver plate that reads superduty. I have a truck with black lariat interior coming and I’m not a fan of the silver trim. Looking at a couple vynil options. Post your pics please!

In my opinion the fake wood is the worst. I'd much rather have the wood found in the KR or similar. If I were to change the silver parts, that would have to include the steering wheel (in order to match) and I can't think of anything better than the silver.

I was kind of just thinking a black vynil or something similar. Nothing crazy. Just wanting to get some ideas if I did anything wood it would be the black ash on Amazon that doesn’t look to outrageous.

I covered the fake wood pieces on the doors of my Lariat with a carbon fiber looking black adhesive vinyl. I would like to do the sliding door in the console but it looks very hard to trim properly. I thought they picked about the worst fake wood they could, I like my fake carbon fiber look better LOL

I covered the fake wood pieces on the doors of my Lariat with a carbon fiber looking black adhesive vinyl. I would like to do the sliding door in the console but it looks very hard to trim properly. I thought they picked about the worst fake wood they could, I like my fake carbon fiber look better LOL

A lot of shops are doing most anything with vinyl wraps these days. Taking removable parts off and dropping them off is an option. Plus you could probably select from a wide range of styles on premise instead of guessing at internet photos.
