I have had a 2 1/2 inch procomp level added to my 2018 f350 and i am wondering if I need a adjust track bar installed? I have leveled a 2014 and a 2011 before with no issues after front end alignment was done. I will be adding 37" tires 37x12.5 20"s and using stock rims. I have never had a trackbar replaced but hear that others use the carli adj track bar after a level. Any info feedback will be appreciated.
I am in the same boat you are. Just got 37's put on stock rims with a leveling kit and can't decide if it's worth doing an adjustable track bar install as well. My truck basically runs up and down the highway until winter time so I haven't been in a hurry to do a track bar, stabilizers, or aftermarket shocks yet. It seems to drive well still but definitely is a little "loose" compared to stock.
i went with a ready lift track bar bracket via amazon. swapped it in my driveway in about an hour. You'll need an alignment afterwards, but it did help the truck feel a bit better, mostly it just re-centered the axle though, it was also way cheaper then the adjustable track bars.
the loose feeling you have is from the castor being outta wack from lifting the front 2.5". castor shims will fix that...mine is also floaty on the highway, the shims don't really work when they're in the toolbox in the bed lol
