Missing part?

Hello I have a 2009 E450 motorhome with the Triton V10.
I had the dog house open yesterday and noticed something that looks odd to me. I have never spent much time with the dog house off so it's probably always been the way it is in the picture.
I have no issues, it runs great and has 30K miles.
Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be on the gasket area shown in the picture?
The picture is from the rear of the head on the pas

senger side.
Thanks

The hole doesn't go anywhere, it's just there.
It is supposed to be like that.
It isn't going to leak provided that you have torqued the intake bolts correctly.
Everyone freaks out the first time they see it, but that's just the way it is.
