I just obtained a 1969 F500 that currently is a fire truck pumper. I need help decoding the vin, F50CKF55730 body style FT. I feel certain the engine is a 330, oil bath breather 190 hp sticker, 4speed, single axle. I don't have it home yet so this info is all I have presently. I put a kit in the carb ran a fuel line to a boat tank and cranked the truck. No smoking, knocking etc. Clutch works fine, brake pedal to the floor with front brakes locked up. The truck tries to move and I believe will when I can get it home and figure out the brake problem(s). Any help would be appreciated.
What I know so far(I think)
F50=F500
C=330
K=Kansas City

 

F50 = F500 / C = 330 2V Medium Duty FT engine / K = Kansas City MO Assembly Plant / F55730 = 1969.

TRANS, AXLE and etc codes stamped on the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch. Post a pic or type the codes.
