I have chimed in here and there over the past weeks but it’s time I formally introduce myself.
My name is Paul and I finally get to drive what has been my dream truck for nearly 15 years. 2017 CCSB F-250 King Ranch 6.7 PowerStroke. I traded a lifted 2017 Sierra Denali Ultimate with the 6.2L for this truck 4 months ago and I haven’t looked back once. My favorite thing has to be the 40-75 acceleration. It just puts you in the seat. All stock for now except a Ranch Hand grille guard on the front. Plans will include 295/65/20 Ridge Grapplers and replacement of all shocks and stabilizer with Fox. No level or lift for now as it’s already banished to the first level of my parking garage. I will be towing here and there but not like most of you. I bought it with 25k, at almost 40k now. Have been doing oil changes every 5k and fuel filters every 10k. I’d rather do it more often than be sorry with how many cases of fuel contamination I see.
I would like to find out more about Forscan as I don’t quite fully understand how it works and if you use it from an iPhone or a laptop. If someone could direct me to a thread where it explains it, I’ll be glad to reasearch it myself. The biggest thing is wanting to have the option to manually activate regen. My commute is either 15 minutes or 3 hours. So naturally, as luck would have it, I can tell it’s in regen at the worst times.
Thanks! Oh and here’s a photo because intros without photos suck haha
There's a link to the FORScan spreadsheet. There is a tab for Setup Instructions at the bottom of the page. I got a little hung up generating the license but eventually figured it out. After that, everything is pretty self explanatory. Just make sure you back up all of the modules before starting!
