Here is what I have planned.
Front Spots:
Front Fill:
Rear Back-up/Work:
Unfortunately, it'll be a bit before I get them ordered and installed, and even longer before I will need them.
Once summer hits up here, there is not much use for additional lighting, as it is pretty light most of the time.

Nice! I once made a bracket to hang two small driving light on either side of the license plate but I really like the two under the plate! Might be stealing that idea

Mounted them straight to the bumper.
I went with the Rough Country lights.
They are pretty good.

I think people just want the lumens, and aren't too concerned with the looks. Function over form. LEDs do open up many options that weren't available before.

Real KC Daylighters produce a ton of light esp with the upgrade bulbs and I bet a farther throw than the LED.

I whole heartily agree on the period correct look. I’ve been searching for a long time to find a bumper thumper, that is my first choice. All I can fine are beat up or rusted beyond repair. I’m not nessaserly looking to add a light bar but maybe some 4x6 or 3x5 led lights I could put a kc cover over and have the best of both worlds.

I went with the LED light bar I did simply for the light output. I don't need a huge light bar as I do not do a bunch off off roading but rather being an electrician there are times I need to light up an area with as much light as I can get within reason so I can see what I am doing in the dark (think new construction disconnect and xformer hook ups to power temporary power panels on a jobsite like a school construction)
We at times start well before the chickens are up and in all kinds of weather. As mentioned before, in my case it is function over form. Plus it is connected to a secondary battery I installed along with a battery isolator the amp draw is low and i don't have to worry about burning gas to get plenty of light or draining my starting battery while running the light for extended periods of time.
