so i finally got a pic of what's under my dash. i see has two reducers under there. are they stock? how do you wire them? should i use them or get newer ones? also i see i have a electric wiper motor. i always thought these (52 f1) had a vacuum motor. how do you wire it? i assume it's wired to a two position switch. one for low and one for high?
Originally, these trucks were electrically operated on 6 volts, as was all their components. There was no need for a voltage reducer. So then, obviously, whatever voltage reducers you have under your dash is not stock. The instructions for wiring the reducers is molded right into the front of the units. It appears they are wired to something right now. I would recommend looking at it closer and tell us how it's wired, and what it's wired to, instead of asking us to guess.
Your wiper motor itself is already wired. The power feed ties in at the switch, if that's what you're asking. The switch also has an integral circuit breaker. Don't mix up any of the existing wire positions at either end and it should work fine. You need to run the original switch with that motor as it's not a simple permanent magnet motor like modern units. The switch completes the circuit with the field windings. If you try to randomly cram juice in to it on the motor terminals, you will only be able to find high speed and could possibly burn up the park switch.
i have a twelve volt conversion going on. i will trace those wires for sure. i have the old gauges still there but i have no switch for the wipers. i'm in the beginning stages of figuring out this wiring, thanks for the responses.

They are probably using the original wiper switch/switch location. It is not down on the dash, with the lights, etc. It is left of the steering wheel, high on the dash, near the top.
