More AACA hardware

This wasn't in the envelope long . Had an offer inside for a $10 brass mounting bracket . Has some thin brass plate hanging on the bench so fabbed one up .Car show for the FT.Pierce PAL sat. Wanted to be sporting the new medallion . Next award is the. .National Senior . . Maybe in Oct in Mobile , Al. or next Feb . in Miami .

Congradulations on your achievement you have a right to be proud. In a Early Ford V8 National event you would have lost points because the license plate holder bracket should be on the right/passenger side of the front bumper not in the center.

License plate at the center of the bumper should be correct for 51-2. It was offset to the right on the 48-50 trucks. I would file a huge protest if some moron judge tried to pull that on me. The plate was moved to center as it would have obscured the front lamps on the right if left there with the revised, new grille.

read my reply to Merc 52. I was the one that was docked points because of the location of the license plate holder, if I had Merc 52’s poster i could have pleaded my case.

AACA Winter National update . Received a copy of the scoring sheet back from the VP of judging Charles Crane in N.C. They only high light max. deduction areas . Received max.deduction ( 10 points ) on incorrect bed finish . Would like to think final scoring was in the 370 range . Know points were above 265 .
