Does anyone have any photos of a truck with this color? Was looking at the paint book and saw this under the 86 Ford truck exterior section. Not sure if I've seen a truck with that color on it. Looks like there was a Dark and Medium also.

I see the Desert Tans a lot but not the Walnut that I know of.

This bronco II is supposed to be dark walnut metallic

 

Thanks! Those were the only two I came across also on both Google and here. It looked like a really nice color in the book. More bronze than the desert tan options.

 

Checked the book again and learned what the legend stood for (I incorrectly assume if it was under Truck then it was full-size trucks) but 5U was on Bronco II, Econoline, and Rangers. Sorry.

 

What book might this be?

Pic: 5U shown in 1980/89 truck catalog. There's no mention of any specific trucks using this color.

It's a Dupont Paint 'swatch' book at a paint store. I was only ever looking at the 86 year and the models listed there. I didn't take any photos of the other years so can't say what models the book showed for those.
Ultimately, I am not concerned with what year or model it's on - I'll be happy with any photos of 5U
