Not too bad, alittle less tight than when stock.

That caster is just about at neutral. Any truck I own with a solid front axle is going to be running between 4* positive and more likely 5* caster.

The reduced caster decreases force to return to center when moving. More caster does make the steering less “light”. The general concerns on the SD with reduced caster are 1) straight tracking, 2) feeling of bump steer, 3) as components wear, risk of death wobble.

if you like how it drives and none of these are issues, I think I’d be happy with it. I’d be mindful of wear in the front end and on the steering stabilizer and be prepare to increase caster if you have any issues.

You need too correct the Caster, Cant believe they let that go out the door. It won't wear the tires though. Set the tow and let it go..

The reason it is loose is that low caster. You need the caster bushings installed and it'll tighten back up. Any alignment shop can install them. You can order them from BDS or through the alignment shop itself.

i agree with this fella’. All they did was a toe and go alignment, and thats not cool. You need to pay to have the bushings installed and a proper alignment performed on your truck. With those caster numbers, you are asking for trouble especially if you are running heavy oversized tires. Once you get a little wear in your steering components, you are set up for bad things to happen. They never should have let you leave with those settings. Did they even try and sell you on the bushing install? How much did they charge you for that alignment?

Thanks guys. The cost of install and alignment was 223 out the door. I even asked about castor bushings and the guy at the counter didnt even think the castor was bad. He even showed me a box of the bushings that was going on a Cummins after i mentioned reading on here about guys running 3.6*, i believe. This was at 4 wheel parts of all places, thought they would have picked up on that castor when doing alignment. I had no problem paying to do it right.
All in all, its a very slight noticeable difference going down the highway at 75, even hitting bumps and return to center. BUT, id like for it to be right.

most 4Wp are a hollow shell of what they once were. There are good ones and there are bad ones. That is pretty bad that he didnt go ding dimg dimg on the caster measurments though.... for **** sake thats money in his pocket....

To the OP, what year is your truck? I'm guessing 18-19?

I'm seeing in other posts that guys with the 17s has much more caster from the factory (around 4 deg). And for those who have been experiencing issues with death wobble, one of the steps in the TSB is to install bushings to reduce the caster.

DUH, just looked at the pic you posted again and see that it's a 19.

Haha holy **** thats awesome. I think they sell adaptors as well so if you run fat tires you can still use it.
