Steering wheel messed up, clock spring definitely
For starters, hi everyone, this isn't my first account here but cant recover the other one so 🤷🏾*♂️. Got my second excursion today. Was driving and already noticed the steering wheel was off centered when I was driving but didnt move around, didnt bother me. Got back in about an hour later for another drive and made a big uturn, steering wheel didnt turn the wheels but wheel would just turn almost freely and some piece of metal, almost wire like, can be from between the wheel and column. It works and turns fine when I apply a forward pressure to the wheel, like I'm pressing into it and turn, but if I'm just free handing like normal itll just wrap around. I know the clock spring is gone because no horn or cruise control. Any idea on what else to replace and how to fix it? TIA
