Why do you want it posted?

I browsed the service content, I don't see anything and haven't heard of anything. Where did you here about it?

Thanks!

. . . and ouch if it sucks in a screw: . . . "and the cylinder head and piston may become damaged."

Anyone know what the fix is?

Or are they just applying some loctite to those screws? (joking)

Replacing the EGR valve, it likely comes with new screws.

Maybe the new screws come pre-coated with a thread-locker of some sort.

Hey there
been some time since I have posted in February I purchased a 2018 f 150 power stroke. Drove it for 3 weeks no problems
my dealer knew I was taking the truck to Daytona bike week and called me to say we need to do this recall before you go
I was hesitant to get it done as the truck was working perfect and we were leaving in three days. The round trip is 5400kms they went ahead and did it anyways truck worked perfect for the whole trip we got 15L per 100 towing 21ft cargo trailer with 4 Harley’s in it a 5 adults in truck very happy other then the 16 gallons of def we used. When we got back I asked dealer to look into def use they booked me an appointment for 4 days later one day before appointment check engine light came on. They looked at it said don’t know why so much def and that the light was for egr all they did was reset it didn’t make it 10 mins down the road and light back on. This was a Friday called dealer said they would look at it again on Tuesday come Monday on way home from work all of a sudden motor started knocking dash said exhaust is full drive to clean, and reduced engine power. I checked with my ford pass and there was 12 warnings all for egr,def and exhaust filter.
Has anyone else have a problem like this going on?
my dealer does not want to touch it now and has sent it to a bigger dealer 2 hrs away it sounds like maybe the new egr fix has had the screw back off and has gone in the motor
