FFD Boost Fooler

I've read on here that 30 psi is about all you should run on a stock turbo. Before the boost fooler I saw just over 20 psi. So far only 17.5 psi with. I'll have a trailer hooked on soon and see if that's where it stays.

As far as hooking the CCV into the exhaust, I'd like to but want to make sure there aren't any problems with doing that.

Thanks!!

True. It will go higher than that but you are starting to produce a lot of heat and that's no bueno.

I could easily get to 30 psi with my rebuilt stocker with a billet wheel.

Just finished the EGT/Boost gauge install!! EGT probe was pretty easy to install.

Getting the wiring/boost hose/pyro line hooked up took a lot of time. I make things harder than they have to be. Everything has to be just right. After all that the lights in the gauges dim at different rates. The dim circuits and ground circuits of the two gauges are tied together and one wire from each picks up the circuit. They must have different bulbs in them.

I went for a little test ride. On the short run I saw 25 psi so everything is working. I was surprised at how low the EGT's were just cruzing along (about 700).

I will probably have to pull a trailer tomorrow just to check everything out. My tractor needs washing.

Good job Tin...under the dash, theres a dormant blu/pnk wire thats hot acc. Using it for my gauges. Hot wire is off power supply port...anyway, with 96 postings, what was your verdict with turbo/concoction?

The FFD billet wheel/PHP Hydra/4" turbo back straight pipe combo is a 100% win. Relatively inexpensive and easy to do. So far EGT's are great. I will be towing about 10K later this week. I didn't have the EGT gauge last time I towed with this turbo combination. It did tow this load quite well with a lot more power (I know, how much is "a lot more" than it did stock When stock I would lose a little speed at 65 mph in 6th. Now I can speed up a little on the same hill. Seems to be getting 1 or 2 mpg's better.
