TFT Sensor issues
I have 2007 6.0 f250 and today the tow/haul light started flashing and my trans temp gauge read cold. I pulled into a parking lot and did some research. Through reading the code and some quick internet searches I determined it to be the TFT sensor. I went to the store and ordered a new one and as soon as I got home it stopped flashing. I drove it around some more and it didn’t come back on.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Is this from a failing sensor or is there another issue I should be worried about?

When my TFT gauge read zero (and gauge error popped up), it stayed that way until I replaced the sensor a couple of days later. It was an easy job on the 5R100 and since the pan was down I changed the internal filter as well).
