I have changed 5 EGR coolers and 5 oil coolers so I deleted my EGR cooler by placing freeze plugs in each end and welded it shut during the process I must have hit one of the injector connection so I replaced the injector put it all back together won't start if I keep cranking till my nerves give out it'll start trying to hit then the IPR fault code pops up that's when my nerves give out it ran fine when I pulled it in the shop just blowing a little white smoke now it'll crank but no start almost like no fuel checked that no problems could it be a bad connection not having a good connection with the ficm or fuel lines full of air
Advice if you keep the 6.0 no egr (already done) install a remote oil cooler and also install a "coolant filter" before the oil cooler inlet.
I jumped ship from the 6.0 for an "18 6.2 and have never looked back!
Drove my 6.0 for 14 years before upgrading to this 18 model. You’re on the right track double checking your electrical connections. I’d try to reseat them, especially at the FICM. Are you sure the injector went in correctly? Have you got a way to look at high pressure oil and FICM voltage while cranking?
