data link cable for Forscan

Ok so I did a search on Amazon for the USB to obd2 cable needed to use with the Forscan mods. and several came options came up. So my question is which one have yinz all used? Everyone that I read from all to say get the $30 cable on Amazon. But I found one for $20 and was wondering if that one will work. I'll add a couple of links for you to view and give advice on. Thanks for all your help.

I use the first one since my laptop wasn't Bluetooth and it works fine.

The second one is the "better" of the choices, at least it is the one that is recommended in livinitup's document.
