Blending running boards

I was wondering if anyone has melded/blended the running boards into both the front and rear fenders? I'm thinking that there would be too much flex to make this work, I was thinking of this, but wanted to check with all you wizards. Thanks in advance,L8R ZFLASH

Might be all right for a trailer queen but not on a truck you intend to drive..
