You did not say if style side or flare side gate.
Style side I am going to say might be hard.
Flare side I was able to take the bow out of mine, it was at the top.
It was a JY find and sent to me from my brother for free so cant complain as I had none.
I set it on the floor bow side up and a 2x4 between the gate & floor to give some room to go pass middle as the gate will spring back.
A few 250+ lb hops on the gate got it straight. I used a long level as a straight edge to check if it was flat.
It worked for me I don't know if with out looking at the gate if it would work in the middle as the metal may be streached.
