Shooting from the hip, I believe they're tucked in the dash, passenger side.

I bought the new SW7665 Governor/Regulator last week 11/20 to fix the wiper problem on my 1997 E350 van. I cannot find it location to save my life. Judging by it's construction it must be inside the cab. .I've looked under both side of the dash without luck, any help?

What wiper symptoms prompted you to buy this part without knowing its location? Any diagnosis or just a guess this would fix it all?

Wipers were running through a dry cycle when I turned the key on, only happened when it was cool outside. Not much in the wiper circuitry that could cause that but the governor/regulator module. I finally pulled the "dog house" and found the module located at the upper left hand corner to the left of the radio. Now everything works as it should in "Wiper World".

As a post mortem, the regulator/governor is very difficult to replace. You must literally destroy the old mounting slots on the unit to get it out of the vehicle!
Ford Service must have a special tool for the process.
