Wind noise and gap

Wind noise and gap
Anybody else have this issue and know the cause and solution for it. The wind noise is horrible and the gap at the top of the door is a huge concern Taking it to the dealer next week. Happens when going 60+. Very frustrating with a $60,000 truck.

I have it on my 2016 F150 but over time, I really don`t hear it anymore especially when the radio is on.
You can do a search for 2015 F150 wind noise on the Forums and on the web and you`ll come across a plethora of information.
Also, some owners also reported door alignment problems and again, you can do a search for this issue as well pertaining to the current generation F150.

Well, since the SD cabs are based on the F150 and i`m not sure if Ford addressed the issue but, wind noise has been a problem since the current generation F150`s hit the market in 2015.
I have it on my 2016 F150 but over time, I really don`t hear it anymore especially when the radio is on.
You can do a search for 2015 F150 wind noise on the Forums and on the web and you`ll come across a plethora of information.
Also, some owners also reported door alignment problems and again, you can do a search for this issue as well pertaining to the current generation F150.

thank you for the reply, I have been reading the issues on the f150s as well and seems like Ford has no answer to the issue. I could handle it if it was just a little Noise but it sounds like a jet is taking off and even with music on you still can here it. Andthe gap at the top where you can see daylight through at times is a concern it just started happening with 7500 miles on the truck
I would take it in ASAP.

I thought mine was bad! This is unacceptable by all standards. Mine rattles and I can occasionally feel cool air coming in. No rain coming through yet..
I'm taking mine to the dealer when convenient but yours should be in there immediately. Let us know what comes of it.

My 2012 had the same exact issue. Very loud and could literally see daylight when I got on the freeway. Took it to dealer and had it adjusted...problem solved.

All they told me was that the door was miss-aligned. From the outside, you could clearly see that the door was sticking out further than the pass side. It was kind of a "no problem, we can adjust that" sort of thing when I took it in. Hope it works out as well for you!
