Do you all find that your get high beamed more frequently with the LEDs? I get high beamed at least twice a night with the halogens when I'm out and about. I wanted to go LED with the stock housings, but they look extremely bright in the photos above. So I finally pulled the trigger on the Anzo lights and I replaced the standard bulbs that they came with LEDs in hopes that the projectors in the Anzo lights enable me to direct the light to the road better. I can't wait to install them.

Throw up a pic when you get them installed. Plus you might want to do hid's in a projector like that.
Thks for all the info n help guys...ordered the h13 n 9005 for fogs yesterday n Amazon had free one day shipping..it came this morning...I removed the wiper fluid tube n the air intake tube to install...very easy n fast...everything fit snug ..just a tip...if u get the 9005..it has "+" n "-" Marking on the bulb plug..make sure u plug it in correct way or the light won't come on..one of my fogs didn't come on n I thought it was bad..but I flipped the plug n voila..cant wait till sundown!

Thanks to all the advice on FTE I followed you guys into these lights.
i installed the same ones in the original post, no fans and the oval shaped heat sink.
i put an indexing stripe on both the heat sink and the forward flat front of the lamp so I could tell looking into the headlight lens that the beam tech lamp was indeed in the correct 3-9 orientation and that I had installed it right side up.
was done in 30 mins.
LOVE the new lamps.
SO much better than the halogen lamps.
Shame on ford for even selling these trucks with such lame headlights.
Actually Ford should just be ashamed of themselves that they sell these trucks with such lame “standard” headlights lol.
I'd never spend the money on Anzo but in the previous posts (a year old now) they look like a good looking light. No one ever posted a picture of installed units. I'd be curious to see them.
Any one have pics and/or stories of how they worked out?

these lights are built for halogen bulbs not led the beam pattern will not be anything like an OEM led. like spooledsrt said HIDs would be better in these.

I haven't seen an all inclusive kit. I purchased various bulbs from various places. The Beamtech H13 from Amazon. LED reverse lights from Headlight Revolution. My fogs are 9005 yellow Fanteli from Amazon but others are using different bulbs. License plate lights were a card of 10 cheapos from Amazon. LED tail/turns from SuperBright LED and front switchback turn signals from GTR Lighting. If you do the switchback make sure you get a 4257. Others will tell you about 7444 and 3157 but those did NOT have a proper fit and work out for me.
Superbright has a page where you can at least get all the correct bulb numbers even if you don't purchase there.
