99 7.3 550 died and won’t start
hello all. I am new here. Just got my first power stroke a while back and it died on the road and will not start back up. I have changed the cps and the ipr both with ford parts. I have unplugged the icp and still no start. Wts light comes on and off as should. Oil pressure gage builds while cranking. Filled hpop back up after changing ipr. 30 fuse under dash is good. I’m in the sticks and don’t have access to a scanner. I’m out of ideas and wondering if y’all may have some insight:
a friend just told me I should pull the icp; but the key in on position and blow a air compressor into the icp hole for about 30 seconds to listen for bad injector o rings

Has it ever run rough before this? Does the fuel bowl have fuel in it? When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump running? How much fuel in the tank?
The 550 probably has a metal tank and they are known to have paint flake off inside and clog the fuel system. Seems like you would have had some running issues if this was the problem, hence the first question.

sorry, I meant to include that the fuel bowl is full and refills, the pump under the drivers side is working. The tank is plastic and the screens were cleaned. It was running with a noticeable loss of power when I got it. Addressing the fuel system up to the bowl (checking screens pumps and replacing lines) had it running pretty good for a while and it was running fine when it died suddenly with no warning. As if someone turned the key. No sputtering or hesitation.
