I guess by my happening to be there when my special order arrived, the pin didn't have time to just "walk" away like some probably do when they sit on the lot in dealer stock for awhile.

Reason: typo
Nice looking rig. It looks identical to mine and I see that you have a gasser. What axle ratio are you running? I'm in NE Ohio. Where in Ohio are you from??

I saw this idetical truck at a campground in NE Ohio last year. Wonder if it was you lol
I think the chrome receiver pins came with the trucks when Ford included the 2 1/2" to 2" receiver adapter to keep it in place. Now no adapter or pin.
I had a Tahoe with a red that was very close to the Ruby Red. This red is my favorite color but I ordered my truck in white. I HATE swirl marks in the medium and darker colors and they don't show in white or silver. I have spent many dollars with AutoGeek in polishers, polishing compounds, waxes, clay bars, etc etc etc. I do use the 2 bucket wash (wash & rinse) and multiple microfiber wash pads but you still can't totally eliminate getting some swirl marks. As I get older I'm not as inclined to spend as much time detailing my vehicles. Maybe the newer ceramic coatings would have helped as I do love the red.
