Who Has Pics of 2011-Up Wheels on their 99-04 SD
I have been seeing some great deals 18in wheels from some newer trucks. I know I need spacers so the wheels dont contact the leafs and look sunken in. Who else out there has newer wheels and spacers on their 99-04 truck and how has your experience been.

Looks juvenile & tacky IMO, as much, or more, than aftermarket wheels.
Bigger wheels don't really gain you anything on these old trucks anyway, the ride will just be more harsh. You'll have less tire to absorb little bumps that the farm-tractor-like suspension can't react to.

from my understanding, as long as you have good USA made spacers it’s not a problem.

From my understanding, as long as you have hub-centric, steel spacers, you should be fine. That being said, I won’t run spacers, but that’s just me. I think that a lot of the newer style wheels look good on our older trucks. With an 18 and a 35, I don’t think the ride will be overly harsh either. Cause I’ve got some 305/70/16 on my stock wheels now, and it rides worse than it ever has. And I’ve run quite a few wheel/tire combos.

A friend of mine has 2011-2015 lariat 20s on his '99 screw 4x4. They look just as good on his truck as they would on my '14 if you ask me. Looks way better than the stock wheels that he had on it. He is running hub-centric spacers. His are SpiderTraUSA made) I believe. He hasn't had any problems with them and they have been on his truck for nearly 2 years. I'm not sure of the mileage that he has put on them.
